Hello Runner 5s!!  Here’s a few songs I like to listen to while gathering supplies and evading ghouls out there.  Yeah that was cheesy… On to the music then:

Transylvania - Iron Maiden.  I really like this one to launch a mission.

Civilian - Wye Oak It helps me keep a nice, steady pace. Also it was featured on AMC’s The Walking Dead.

The Warriors Main Theme - Barry de Vorzon (no real comment, I just like running to this song.

Everyday - Carly Comando There’s a couple of songs like this on my playlist, I like this song particularly when I’m about to finish running.

I Stand Alone - Godsmack It reminds me of the Prince of Persia game when the Dahaka would chase you… What.

Game Of Thrones Main Title - Ramin Djawadi Because the Game of Thrones theme makes everything more awesome. It’s a scientific fact.

The Trooper - Iron Maiden Pretty obvious one, I suppose.

Furious Angels - Rob Dougan (The one from the Matrix, without the lyrics)

Cold - Aqualung & Lucy Schwartz. No, really.

Fly - Ludovico Einaudi.

Scrambling desperately away from the pile of twisted metal and spewing gas, the runner put as much distance as she could between herself and the crashed helicopter. Only moments before, the aircraft had been high in the sky, successfully steering toward Mullins Township with an abundance of medical kits. Now, the helicopter was nothing more than a gruesome, fallen bird, bits of metal shards strewn everywhere.

The runner’s radio crackled to life. “Jolly Alpha Five Niner, Jolly Alpha Five Niner! This is Abel Township, do you come in?” A nervous, male voice.

“Roger that, I hear you,” the runner croaked, the smoke from the helicopter filling her lungs, her heart racing. “The helicopter crashed! We—we were hit by some sort of rocket launcher!”
